We exist to encourage all to know God and be known by Him, to be witnesses to those around us, to worship God, to make disciples, to equip the people of God for works of service, to build up the body of Christ until we reach all unity in the faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to help the church mature, to attain to the fullness of Christ, and to experience and offer fellowship with other believers. (Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Peter 3:15, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Hebrews 10:25)
Yes? Then please keep on looking! We are not perfect. In fact, the Bible says "if anyone says we have not sinned, we make him (Jesus) a liar and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:10) We are a community of people from all walks of life and varied backgrounds who know that we have sinned by falling short of God's plan for our lives. We know that "Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; that he was buried, and then rose again, on the third day according to the scriptures." (1 Corinthians 15:2-4) We know that, though we are all worthy of judgement for our brokenness, God has saved us by his grace (undeserved favor) through faith (ability to trust God) so that we can do the good things he has planned for us. (Ephesians 2:8-10) This is the good news we want to share with others who are like we were - trapped by the knowledge that we can never be good enough or do the right things all of the time, carrying guilt and shame. The amazing truth is that God knows we are all incapable of being good enough, and that is why he sent Jesus to pay the price for all of our sins. This is what John 3:16 means - "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." If you would like to hang out with a group of people who know they are messed up, want to grow in relationship with God and each other, and want to share the love of God with the community and those around us, then come visit us on Sunday morning. Doors open at 9:30 and service starts at 10 am. Think the Bible is some old boring collection of stories that don't really matter? GREAT! We welcome people who have questions and doubts - we have all had them and still have some now. You might want to be there early to hear Tim share some of the cool nerdy facts about the Bible each week before the rest of service! By the way, there's no need to get all dressed up - just come as you are. You are welcome here.

Sunday Prayer is from 11:30 am to noon.
Join us at 1 pm at church as we study the Gospel According to John and pray for each other.
Please join us every Thursday night from 6:30pm to 8pm. We offer two options:
Understanding God's love for you. Life can be HARD, and if you've been thinking you might need to talk to someone or seek counseling to figure out how to heal from past hurts, to improve relationships, or to have hope that things might ever change, this could be a good (and free!) place to start. Nikki, a family physician who has a passion for encouraging others mixed with a super power to make it safe for people to cry, will lead a discussion group where we focus on understanding God’s love for each of us and how this truth can improve relationships with self, God others.
Loving God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Do you have questions or want to know more about God, the Bible, history, science and what Christianity teaches? Tim, who is a self-professed Bible nerd, with a passion for answering questions, will lead a group focused on diving deeper into understanding who God is, why we believe in God, what it means to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength through Bible study, reflection, meditation, history, apologetics, linguistics, and cool Bible stuff.
